โ Frequently Asked Questions
Q. My Japanese is basic. Can I still apply?
Yes! Basic communication is enough. We have multilingual mentors, and your customer service skills + smile will go a long way. We can also support your Japanese learning journey.
Q. Will the company sponsor my visa?
As an independent contractor arrangement, we cannot sponsor visa changes. You need to have a valid status of residence that permits contractor work before applying.
Q. Are contracts available in English?
The legal contract is in Japanese (as required by Japanese law), but we can provide a reference translation in English or your native language to help your understanding.
Q. What about taxes and health insurance?
As an independent contractor, you're responsible for your own tax filing and health insurance (ๅฝๆฐๅฅๅบทไฟ้บ or other). We can introduce you to specialists who can help you set this up.
